Local advice when you meet a bear:For brown bears (grizzlies): as long as you are not between a mother and her cups (see advice for black bears), don't run (they are faster than a horse), stay quiet and put yourself in a fetal position and pray. For a black bear: donīt run and be prepared to fight. Praying will not help, they will eat you! | |
